This event was originally created by A Charity Affaire in 2006 to provide a multi-charity fundraising venue. Since that time, it has raised $405,000 for 83 different charities. Some charities participate multiple times.
Dancing with Our Stars is a Dance Show with participation open to not only charities to use as a fundraising opportunity, but to ‘Amateur’ and ‘Pro/Am’ Couples. These couples, along with the charity dancers, will participate for “Audience Choice” trophies in their respective categories.
Multiple dancers are welcome to dance for each charity earning more fundraising opportunities for each charity.
